 The  Role: The Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Restoration technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry. You will be first on the scene to help people cope with water, fire and other disasters. From securing the property, to cleaning and drying, to contents restoration, all the way through rebuild.  As a valued SERVPRO® franchise employee, you will receive a competitive pay rate, with opportunity to learn and grow.  The Details:

  • Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control, this is a labor intensive position  
  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers. Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines at all times 
  • Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly. 
  • Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
  • Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate with restoration supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes and follow direction accordingly
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance that impresses customers and keeps them confident in our work.
 What you must have: 

  • Effective verbal communication skills 
  • Basic math and computer skills 
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
  • High school diploma/GED
  • IICRC certifications preferredAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Ability to work nights and weekends in an on-call rotation, approximately 1 week a month. Possible exception if hired to primarily  work on Fire/Smoke Damage Team
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

  • Dependable transportation
  • Valid drivers license
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Pay Rate:

Starts at $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience

Performance bonuses available once training period is completed. Paid Holidays and Vacation

Schedule:

  • Standard 8 hour shift , Monday - Friday
  • Rotating On call schedule, 1 Week a Month, Possible exception if hired to primarily  work on Fire/Smoke Damage Team

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
